Lightweight aluminium air shafts
Series PSW-F
The lightweight aluminium air shafts is the right choice for most standard applications. It is designed for medium web tension and medium coil weight. Due to the aluminium profile design, the air shaft is extremely light and relieves the machine operator during frequent roll changes. The pneumatic clamping shaft expands by a flat hose system. The continuous clamping bars are very protective to the cores and allow even a winding of multiple cores.

In order to meet the demands of our customers for better delivery times, we have common standard journals available from stock which allows us to reduce the delivery time considerably.
High performance air shafts
Series PSW-Z
Due to its construction and the central tube system, this winding shaft is the most customisable. Depending on its design, it can withstand very high loads and is therefore a real high-performance air shaft. Even a carbon fibre body is possible in case a very low dead weight is required. The shafts expansion elements are expanding by a central rubber hose.
