Pneumatic expansion shafts in lightweight construction are a response to the requirements of many customers looking for exceptionally light solutions to protect their employees‘ health and ensure workplace safety. For this reason, at IBD Wickeltechnik, we have developed this special variant. We rely on intricately crafted, material-reduced aluminum profiles. Despite this slim design, our expansion shafts are characterized by robustness and high load-bearing capacity.

The pneumatic expansion shaft offers versatile possibilities for cantilevered applications. The option of individual flanges or bearing pins allows for flexible installation. Air supply can be either radial, axially from the front via an air valve, or from the rear through a rotary union. In terms of features, all the functions and add-ons of a conventional profile shaft are available. This makes it a versatile solution for a wide range of applications where one-sided support is required.

To meet our customers‘ demands for improved delivery times and more competitive prices, we are introducing an IBD Standard Expansion Shaft Line. The pins for the IBD Standard Line are always in stock and can be delivered quickly. Additionally, it offers a significant price advantage over our list price.
