IBD Wickeltechnik Expands Product Portfolio: Exclusive Partnership with Elettromeccanica Bonato for the DACH Region

IBD Wickeltechnik GmbH has entered into a strategic partnership with the Italian company Elettromeccanica Bonato. Through this cooperation, IBD will assume exclusive distribution of Bonato products in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland effective immediately. Elettromeccanica Bonato specializes in electrostatic discharge systems and complements IBD’s portfolio with its antistatic technology, adding a forward-looking product segment.

This collaboration enables IBD to offer its customers solutions for neutralizing electrostatic charges. The joint product range includes ionization bars, high-voltage power supplies, transformers, and EX-certified components for electrostatic discharge in industrial applications. The partnership is viewed as an important complement to winding technology through the control of static electricity.

Bonato’s technology is applied in numerous industrial sectors where electrostatic charging plays a role. These include the packaging, printing, film processing, nonwovens, and textile industries. Particularly in highly automated processes, uncontrolled charging can lead to problems such as dust attraction, spark formation, or production failures. Bonato’s antistatic systems are designed to provide reliable and easily integrable solutions that are also suitable for retrofitting existing systems.
